Protonna

Protonna BV is the result of a market search for rotational moulded Poly Ethylene products.

Since 1980, HuibertI was a member of the windsurfer design team of Ten Cate Sports. The factory needed new products after the decline in windsurfing.
Huibert proposed the production of buoys an solar systems for nav aids. The only way to start up this business was by starting a new company (Protonna BV) in 1990.

In the meanwhile Ten Cate Sports survived after a management buy out by Pentas by producing toilet cabins also designed by Huibert Groenendijk.
